Campus Alberta Central (CAC) is a joint venture between Olds College of Agriculture & Technology and Red Deer Polytechnic that provides post-secondary programs to communities throughout the central Alberta region. Student success is a high priority for Campus Alberta Central.  Community Learning Partners within the region provide access to information, technology and support to help ensure students have a positive learning experience.

CAC site leaders are there to help answer your questions.  Most locations can provide a quiet place to work and access to a computer.  CAC sites offer the following student support services:

  • Career planning
  • Exam invigilation
  • Post-secondary program information
  • Assistance with pre-requisite courses
  • Help with application/registration process
  • Connection to college departments
  • Information on student aide and grants
  • High speed internet access
  • Video conferencing
  • Agency referrals

How to Apply

1. Select an eligible course/program

Campus Alberta Central works with community members and local employers to determine the programs most needed in the region. CAC programs include training in high demand fields such as trades and health care as well as a range of options in business and human services.

Programs & Courses

2. Contact the post-secondary institution providing the program you want to take.

Registration for each course will vary dependent upon the post secondary institution responsible for the program you wish to take. By contacting them you can ensure that:

  • you meet eligibility requirements
  • you have applied for entrance to the institution, if required
  • you have registered in all components within deadlines
